Why we came to life: Low income Seniors and Veterans suffer from isolation that is devastating, and results in depression, anxiety, and more suicides.

Isolation and financial hardship can be devastating — especially for Seniors and Veterans living alone or on fixed incomes. When even simple joys like dining out, visiting an attraction, or attending a community event become out of reach, life can grow painfully lonely. Over time, that loneliness can lead to depression, anxiety, and despair.

Food and Vacations Seniors Specials, Inc. FAVSS’s mission is to enrich the lives of low-income seniors and veterans in our communities by providing them social, cultural, and joyful experiences that promote their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

While many organizations address some basic needs; FAVSS focuses on what is often overlooked—the joy of connecting, engaging and making new friends through meaningful food and vacations outings experiences that enhances their quality of life.

At FAVSS – Food and Vacations Seniors Specials Inc, we believe that seniors and veterans deserve more than just care; they deserve joy, dignity, and unforgettable fun experiences. Our nonprofit was founded with a simple mission: to nourish the body, uplift the spirit, and create lasting enjoyable memories for seniors and veterans through special dining out experiences, mini-vacations, and affordable and entertaining events.

*These Seniors and Veterans Specials are either Free of charge, or offered at highly discounted rates from our Sponsors or Donors to our Members.

FAVSS aims at providing memorable food and vacations experiences to seniors and veterans who too often feel isolated and lonely because of limited opportunities available to them.

From affordable or donated dining experiences at local restaurants, to day trips and mini-vacations, to amusement parks, community events and parties, FAVSS and its team and partners aim at creating unforgettable memories to bring hope and laughter, and new friendships with creative programs that help cheer up our seniors and veterans. Please help by donating a dining experience, or a mini-vacation at your resort, or tickets to an amusement park, tickets to a zoo, or a museum outings to cheer-up our Seniors and Veterans.

No other Organization focuses on food and mini vacations specials and other Seniors Specials to help bring much needed joy, support, and opportunities to those who need it most. Thank you for helping out!
